Emergency stop warning system

This invention relates in general to vehicle emergency warning systems, and more particularly to an electronic deceleration/accident warning system for a motor vehicle having a high energy strobe light facing following traffic, and a microcontroller for controlling the strobe light flash pattern and other safety devices, in response to different emergency situations, such as rapid deceleration, collision, accident while parked, among others. An electronic deceleration/accident warning system for a motor vehicle comprising a high energy flashing strobe light facing following traffic, and a control unit including a controller means for receiving input signals from a g-level sensor and a brake signal, and in response controlling the flash rate of the strobe light. Other optional inputs such as theft alarm and ABS are provided along with optional outputs such as safety belt tensioners and airbags.
