Miniature reciprocating saw device

The present invention relates to reciprocating saws, files and like devices and, more particularly, to an improved device of this type which is substantially reduced in size and which is adapted to permit the device to be held, and readily controlled, by one hand. A small reciprocating saw device is provided which is adapted for one hand operation and which enables delicate sawing or filing work to be carried out. An eccentric drive arrangement includes a motor mounted in a housing at one end of the device and a slender drive rod for the saw blade disposed in a gripping handle connected to the motor housing. Motor control switches are mounted on the motor housing and gripping handle.
