The application relates to diazaphospholidine compounds of Formula 1 and Formula 2: where:A and B are independently selected from C(RR) and C(RR)C(RR);R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, Rand Reach may not be present and each may be independently selected from H, halide -OH, -SOR(where Ris selected from a group as defined for R, R, Rand R), -SH, -NO, -NH, O, S, straight chain, branched chain, cyclic, saturated, non-saturated, substituted or non-substituted alkyl, hydroalkyl, carboalkyl, alkoxy, amino, alkenyl, aryl and -CHAr (where Ar is aryl or substituted aryl), preferably containing 1 to 6 carbons, or a silane containing 1 to 6 silicon atoms,wherein, where an R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, Rand/or Rgroup is not present an unsaturated bond is formed;Rand Rare selected from H, -NH, -OH, halide or a substituted or non-substituted straight or branched chain alkyl or aryl; R, R, Rand Rare each independently selected from halide -OH, -SO, -SH, -NO, -NH, straight chain, branched chain, cyclic, saturated, non-saturated, substituted or non-substituted alkyl, carboalkyl, alkoxy, alkenyl, aryl and -CHAr (where Ar is aryl or substituted aryl), or a silane containing 1 to 6 silicon atoms;Rand Rare selected from H, straight, branched, cyclic, saturated, non-saturated, substituted or non-substituted alkyl, carboalkyl, alkoxy, alkenyl, aryl and -CHAr (where Ar is aryl or substituted aryl);R, R, R, R, Rare independently selected from halide -OH, -SO, -SH, -NO, -NH, straight chain, branched chain, cyclic, saturated, non-saturated, substituted or non-substituted alkyl, carboalkyl, alkoxy, amino, alkenyl, aryl and -CHAr (where Ar is aryl or substituted aryl), or a silane containing 1 to 6 silicon atoms; andX is a linking group containing 1 to 12 atoms;or a salt thereof.These compounds may be used as catalysts for asymmetric catalysts of organic reactions. |
