There is provided an enzymatic oxidation composition and process wherein an oxidisable substance is reacted with (a) a compound having the formula: and (b) molecular oxygen, in the absence of peroxidase. The process is useful in detergent compositions for stain bleaching and/or anti dye-transfer. |
