Web adjuster

The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for adjusting the length of a belt or similar article. Specifically, this disclosure relates to an adjuster that locks to maintain the length of a web to secure a juvenile seat in place upon a vehicle seat and that unlocks to permit adjustments in the length of the web. A web adjuster is provided including a housing, an actuator movably coupled to the housing, and a pincher that releasably retains a web threaded through the housing. The actuator moves the pincher between a first position inhibiting movement of the web relative to the housing and a second position permitting movement of the web relative to the housing.
