Web guide in a paper machine/board machine

This application claims priority of Application 20000 269 filed in Finland Feb. 9. 2000. The invention concerns a guide () for the web, such as the wire or felt, in a paper machine/board machine. The guide is formed by a bearing housing () at one end of a guiding roller () in such a way that the bearing housing () includes a curved surface as the rolling surface (). An actuator () is adapted to roll the bearing housing along a stop face (T), whereby by using the actuator () an essentially linear transfer is given to a shaft stub () pivoted by a bearing () in the bearing housing ().
