Electrostatic removing member having semiconductive zirconia sintered body

The present invention relates to a zirconia sintering body having a semiconductive property while high strength of the zirconia sintering body is maintained, and concretely suitable for uses in which it is necessary to remove static electricity from jigs and tools used in manufacturing processes of a semiconductor device, a magnetic head, electronic parts, etc. and separating claws, etc. used in a tape guide and an image forming apparatus. An electrostatic removing member includes a semiconductive zirconia sintered body having a volume specific resistance value from 10to 10 ·cm. Preferably, the semiconductive zirconia sintered body includes 60 to 90 weight % of ZrO, a stabilizing agent, and 10 to 40 weight % of one or more of oxides of Fe, Co, Ni and Cr. In one embodiment, the semiconductive zirconia sintering body at least partially forms a gripper.
