Fuel pressure sensor

This invention relates to a fuel pressure sensor and more particularly to a fuel pressure sensor which measures the pressure of fuel residing within a fuel rail while concomitantly and substantially preventing the fuel from being communicated into the intake manifold. A fuel pressure sensor which receives air from an intake manifold and fuel from a fuel rail and which uses the received air and fuel to measure the fuel pressure within the fuel rail . The fuel pressure sensor further including a semi-permeable membrane or member which allows the air to pass into the fuel pressure sensor while concomitantly preventing the fuel from passing into the intake manifold
