High density fiber distribution tray system

This invention relates to a fiber optic cable distribution tray system particularly well suited for use for high density fiber optic cable applications. Disclosed is a fiber optic connector tray system for improved fiber optic cable management, especially in situations requiring higher fiber optic cable and connector density. Embodiments of the invention include tray bodies which are mounted to a framework and pivot or rotate to provide access to fiber optic connectors. The pivot or rotation further provides a mechanism to take up additional slack resulting from the pivoting.
