Method for the simultaneous uplink and downlink conveyance of information between multiple mobiles and a base station equipped with multiple antennas

A method of scheduling a plurality of subscriber equipment based on sets of channel conditions for uplink and downlink channels of an air interface of a wireless communication system. The scheduled subscriber equipment are able to simultaneously convey information at their desired information rate over the air interface to a multiple of antennas resulting in significant increase in system capacity.
