Zusammenfassung: | [EN] Climate Change and its effects on the Hydrological Cycle is a very important issue for the entire planet, insofar as estimating its effects plays a preventive role. This is also especially critical in basins of the Spanish Mediterranean arc, since at present they already present a high water stress and strong antropic alterations of their regime. The case study is La Rambla de la Viuda, and within it are the reservoirs of Mª. Cristina and Alcora, the first of them with problems of siltation and probable under-sizing of its spillway, which are the main reason to try to understand of what can happen with this reservoir in the future. The possible effects of Climate Change on the La Rambla de la Viuda basin have been estimated using the distributed hydrological model TETIS and its activated sediment sub-model. The meteorological information used comes from regional climatic scenarios in line with the IPCC’s fifth AR5 report, which had to be corrected due to errors related to its resolution and / or regionalization hypothesis. The modeling results indicate that in terms of climate, there is no clear signal of changes in precipitation, both in quantity and in torrentiality, although the future temperature increase is evident, and this will result in an increase in the reference evapotranspiration. After modeling, this increase leads to a reduction of the available resources, both surface runoff and groundwater, but at the same time to a decrease in the flood quantiles, and consequently one can expect also in the future a decrease of the contributions of sediments to the Mª Cristina reservoir.
