[EN] This research shows the level of security that take students of Telecommunications Engineering and Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, as students with technical courses on the use of digital communication systems, using computer resources to internet browsing. The results show the significant gap between what they have studied to implement in their daily lives and how they actually behave. [ES] Esta investigación muestra el nivel de seguridad que asumen los alumnos de Ingeniería de Telecomunicación y de Informática de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, como estudiantes con asignaturas técnicas sobre la utilización de sistemas digitales de comunicación, al utilizar recursos informáticos para navegar por internet.
