Zusammenfassung:[eng] Contemporary societies face different demographic, technological, health challenges, changes in citizen needs, and government policies. The concentration of population in major metropolises challenges the ability of these cities to provide basic services to a growing volume of citizens. Efficient urban planning becomes crucial to ensure long-term sustainability and effectiveness. The management of mobility in urban and interurban areas seeks to improve accessibility and promote efficient and sustainable transport systems to meet the needs of the population. Regulatory actions are carried out by the different public administrations in order to improve the efficiency, accessibility and equity of urban transport. These measures may not be as effective due to a lack of knowledge about the needs and perceptions that different citizens have of transport models. It is crucial to find a balance between promoting public transport and meeting the mobility needs of the population, through effective planning, investment in adequate infrastructure and transparent communication to ensure a truly efficient and win-win urban transport system. The aim of this doctoral thesis is to know the different transport models that coexist in an urban area and to bring the perception of citizens closer to these models. Urban transport, private transport and shared transport are means of transport that coexist in the same environment and users will make use of it according to their needs and capacity. Combining the three transport models in the same territory is a complicated task, although it becomes more complicated when it comes to implementing regulatory measures that improve accessibility, equity and sustainability of the entire environment. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, various methodologies have been used, on the one hand, literature reviews, bibliometric analyses and scientific mappings have been carried out with the intention of being able to understand the current paradigm of studies on urban mobility and transport. On the other hand, various methods have been used to understand the perceptions of citizens when choosing the different transport models and their needs, such as neural network models, multiple correspondence analysis and multinomial logistic regressions. Through these analyses, it has been possible to produce different academic articles that have been published in various journals of international prestige. The studies allow us to present di
