İlköğretim Birinci Kademe Öğretmenlerinin Problemleri ve Çözüm Önerileri

Çalışmanın amacı, İlköğretim I. kademe öğretmenlerinin problemlerini saptamak ve çözüm önerilerinde bulunmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda bilgi toplamak için geliştirilen ve 67 soru içeren anket ile: İzmir'in merkez semtlerinde 10, kırsal semtlerinde 10 olmak üzere toplam 20 adet ilköğretim okuluna ulaşılmıştır. Anket, bu kurumlarda çalışan merkez öğretmenleri 106, kırsal öğretmenleri 94 olmak üzere toplam 200 sınıf öğretmenine uygulanmıştır. Anket yoluyla, farklı iki bölgede görev yapan öğretmenlerin sorunlarına yaklaşımları arasındaki fark ve benzerlikler bulunarak öğretmenlerin problemleri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular sonucunda, sınıf öğretmenlerinin; okul ve yönetim, eğitim sistemi, hizmet içi ve hizmet öncesi eğitimlerine ilişkin problemler tespit edilerek merkez ve kırsal öğretmenlerinin belirledikleri problemler arasında önemli bir fark bulunmamıştır. Aksine, farklı eğitim kurumlarından mezun olmalarına ve farklı bölgelerde görev yapıyor olmalarına rağmen sınıf öğretmenlerinin belirttikleri problemlerde büyük oranlarda benzerlikler bulunmuştur. Bu sorunların ortadan kalkması için, öğretmenlerin hizmet öncesi ve hizmet içi eğitimlerinin niteliğine önem verilmelidir. Öğretmenlik mesleğinin çekiciliği arttırılarak statüsü yükseltilmeli ve gelir düzeyleri yaptıkları işin önemine ve benzeri meslek gruplarına göre belirlenmelidir. The purpose of this study is to set the problems of the teachers in the 1st part of the elementary education and to provide suggestions to solve them out. A questionnaire is developed to obtain information for this purpose and it consists of 67 questions. Together with this questionnaire it has been possible to reach out 20 primary schools in total, 10 of these being in the central regions of İzmir and the rest being in the suburban regions. The questionnaire has been applied to a total number of 200 first part class teachers working in these institutions, 106 of which are working in the center and 94 are working in the suburbs. With this method, by means of finding out the similarities and the differences between the ways of appproaches of the teachers working in a different regions, their problems are tried to be determined. As a result of these findings, the school and the management, the education system, in-duty and pre-duty educations are determined and no significant difference between the problems of the central and suburban teachers could be detected.
