Seminomda postoperatif radyoterapi sonuçlarımız

1974 ile 1995 yılları arasında Gülhane Askeri Tıp Akademisi Radyasyon Onkolojisi Anabilim Dalı'nda 98 seminom tanılı hastanın değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Tüm olgulara orşiektomi sonrası adjuvan amaçlı radyoterapi uygulanmıştır. Olguların Royal Marsden evreleme sistemine göre hastaların dağılımı; %76 Evre-I, %17 Evre-ll ve %7 Evre-lll tür. Hastaların median yaşı 28 (20-58)'dir. 87 Hastaya sadece radyoterapi uygulanmışken, ileri evrede olan 11 hastaya radyoterapi ile beraber kemoterapi de uygulanmıştır. Elli iki aylık median (2-260) takip süresi içinde, beş yıllık hastalıksız sağkalım oranları Evre-I için %98.6, Evre-ll için %93.3, Evre-lll için %25 ve tüm evreler için %94.5 bulunmuştur. The distribution of the patients according to Royal Marsden phase was as follows, stage-l: 76%, stage-ll:17%, stage-Ill: 7% Median age of the patients was (20-58) While only radiotherapy was given to 87 patients, 11 patients with advanced stage were treated with both radiotherapy and chemotherapy. In 52 months of median follow-up time, 5 year disease-free survival rate was found as 98.6% for stage I, 93.3% for stage II, 25% for stage III and 94.5%for all the stages.
