Plasma oxytocin and personality traits in psychiatric outpatients

Highlights • Plasma oxytocin levels were stable after one month in psychiatric outpatients. • Oxytocin was positively correlated with monotony avoidance and psychic anxiety. • Impulsiveness was associated with oxytocin levels at baseline and at 1 month in men.
