Groin Hernia Surgery in Low-Resource Settings — A Problem Still Unsolved

A trial performed in Uganda supported the efficacy and safety of a low-cost mosquito net mesh for use in hernia repair. Experience since then indicates that the mesh currently supplied by the same company differs from the one that was studied and should not be used.
