Zusammenfassung:A high-transition-temperature superconducting quantum interference device (HTS SQUID) system has been developed and employed in neuromagnetic measurements of evoked fields from in vitro brain slices. Transverse hippocampal slices from rat were prepared and measured. The evoked neuronal activity produced neuromagnetic fields of ~5 pT.
