Guillermo Verdecchia is a Canadian writer of drama, fiction, and film who has also been active as a director, dramaturge, and an actor for stage, screen and radio in North America and other parts of the globe. Among many awards, he is a recipient of the prestigious Governor General’s Award for Drama for his Fronteras Americanas , the Chalmers Canadian Play Award, and sundry film festival awards for Crucero/Crossroads , based on Fronteras Americanas (dir. Ramiro Puerta).
