Zusammenfassung:The paper introduces a new concept – discovery power – that can be used to characterize an enterprise modeling language. The concept is different from, but connected to, the concept of expressive power. The concept is defined as “the degree of help provided by the structure of an enterprise modeling language to expand a partly built model or fill gaps in it”. The paper also suggests a way of evaluating the discovery power of enterprise modeling languages.
