Andersson, Piotr Czupryna, Monika Król Funds Collection: Anna Moniuszko-Malinowska, Justyna Dunaj Ticks can transmit a wide range of pathogens, such as Borrelia burgdorferi, Anaplasma phagocytophilum, Babesia spp., Coxiella burnetii, tick-borne encephalitis virus and others [1]. The inclusion criteria were: -a history of tick bite within 2 months prior to hospitalization -symptoms suggestive of tick-borne disease, such as fever, headache, nausea/vomiting, myalgia, arthralgia, vertigo, neurological abnormalities, such as cranial and peripheral nerve paresis lasting from 3 days up to one month.
