Zusammenfassung: | Topography is an important aspect of seismic modeling, because the shape of the earth’s surface can have a significant impact on the seismic wave propagation. In this paper, an approach to modeling seismic disturbance propagation with consideration of the topography of the Earth’s surface by a grid-characteristic method using overset grids is discussed. The developed algorithm is parallelized using MPI and OpenMP. |
