Zusammenfassung:The conditions and sequences of the phase transitions in the synthesis of laminar perovskite-like titanates A II n -4 La 4 Ti n -1 O 3 n (A II  = Ca, Sr) from mixtures of coprecipitated components were determined. The mechanisms for formation of the laminar structure of these products were found to entail three steps and are independent of the number of layers in the perovskite-like blocks and type of precipitating agent.
