Zusammenfassung: | The paper presents the implications of the different roles within the multimedia service delivery chain on the conceptual design of a navigation support for multimedia services for residential customers.
The roles of the different stakeholder in the service delivery process and their relationships are described. The impact of the intentions of the different stakeholders on the access to the service and the service presentation is discussed. Specific attention is paid to the restrictions for residential customers with low cost consumer terminals.
A navigation concept is presented reflecting the needs of the different stakeholders, users, service providers, content providers and service brokers. The features of the designed navigation application are described with respect to their support of stakeholder requirements. |
