Knowledge Management in Small and Medium Enterprises (WMKMU 2005): Integration of HR and IT Perspectives

This workshop was organised in order to create a forum for exchanging, comparing and reflecting lessons learned from knowledge management projects carried out in small and medium enterprises (SME). We wanted show that and how it is possible to establish knowledge management solutions without spending a fortune – but not without creative ideas, a deep understanding of the users requirements, a seamless co-operation between all participating departments, an efficient use of the project members time and contributions and last not least doing the right things at the right time.
