Zusammenfassung: | A wavelet-based fuzzy multiscale edge detection scheme (WFMED) is presented in this paper. The dyadic wavelet transform is employed to produce the multiscale representation of the image, fuzzy logic is applied in wavelet domain and it can synthesize the information of image across scales effectively, an optimal result of edge detection can be acquired. WFMED method is used to extract the edge of pulp fibre image; the paper compares the performance of WFMED to the Canny edge detector and to Mallat’s algorithm. The results show the superiority of WFMED to these other methods. |
