Zusammenfassung:Earthquake is most dangerous and life harming phenomenon compared to all natural hazard. The Irregular structures are more vulnerable to seismic loads. The architectural, functional and economical concerns cause irregularities in buildings. It is well known that, bracing system reduces displacement, story drift and strengthen the structure. Steel bracing are most efficient to resist the lateral loads. In present work G+10 storied regular and irregular structures situated in Zone IV are analyzed. The response of structure for various ground motion is found by Response spectrum analysis. Base shear, story drift, displacement and axial forces are parameters considered for comparison of results using ETABS 2017 software. X, V and Diagonal bracing are used in study. It is found that, X-bracing is the most effective for irregular structure as compared to V and diagonal bracing system.
