Zusammenfassung:Nowadays, the development of structural engineering, especially the reinforced concrete building structures tent to be more height. The reinforced concrete columns play the major role so that the safety of designing like these elements and understanding the behavior need to be more accurate. The slenderness ratio of the columns is the major factor that affecting the ultimate load capacity of the columns. With increasing slenderness ratios, it is need to get more strength of these element. Many methods applied to columns to get more column capacity. Composite reinforced concrete columns is one of the easiest and simplest method to make columns more strength than the same columns have the same slenderness ratio. This study focus on the slender composite reinforced concrete columns under eccentric load and find the benefit will gain in ultimate strength capacity and the maximum lateral deformation of the reinforced concrete columns.
