Zusammenfassung: | The harm that Internet of Things (IoT)-based cyberattacks inflict on people and medium-sized to large IT companies has made cyber security experts and researchers in the field of information technology more driven to investigate the dangers of cyberattacks. As a result, this study looked into how cyberattacks affect Internet of Things devices. Understanding the various network protocols and developing countermeasures to mitigate or stop cyberattacks on Internet of Things devices are the goals of this research study. Research papers and case studies are the primary tools utilized in this study to sort through and compile data from various IoT scholars. Because of its adaptability and capacity to offer comprehensive data, this study used a case study. The primary conclusions of this study showed that there are very few effective countermeasures to deter cyberattacks. As a result, stringent steps must be taken to deploy protective tools like cloud computing along with encryption techniques to prevent cybercrimes. Better prevention and detection strategies will also be made possible by the results of this research. Additionally, this study will help to identify knowledge gaps so that they can be filled in by subsequent research. |
