Zusammenfassung:We present, evaluate, and compare a novel narrowband rectangular microtrip patch antenna to a circular patch antenna by modifying the FR4 substrate height to achieve effective return loss. Research Tools and Procedures: The antenna is created with the help of computer-aided modelling software. The first set consisted of antennas with circular patches, whereas the second included antennas with rectangular patches. Antenna design considerations include the dielectric constant and the height of the FR4 substrate. The rectangular patch antenna has its FR4 height raised from 1.3 mm to 2.2 mm, while the circular patch antenna uses a value of 2.1 mm. Compared to the circular patch antenna, which has a return loss of -29.69dB, the antenna’s performance is improved when the FR4 substrate height is changed from - 43.53dB. The substantial value that was attained with the narrowband return loss is (p0.05). The study’s conclusion is that, when compared to a rectangular patch antenna, the return loss of a circular patch antenna, which was simulated using computer-simulated technology, was substantially lower.
