Zusammenfassung: | The objective of this project is to assess the thermal performance of a refrigerator by utilizing Phase Changing Material (PCM) inside the refrigerator compartment. By incorporating a low melting point PCM, such as Polyethylene Glycol 400, the refrigerator’s cabin temperature can be regulated effectively. The project aims to compare temperature fluctuations in the refrigerator compartment with and without PCM during power outages and door openings. This comparison will allow for a contrast in energy usage between the two scenarios and provide insights into the effectiveness of PCM in maintaining temperature stability. |
