Zusammenfassung: | This bibliometric analysis aims to explore the impact of COVID-19 on distance learning through a comprehensive review of the scholarly literature. Using the Scopus database, a total of 754 articles were retrieved over the period 2020-2023 and analyzed using bibliometric techniques such as citation analysis, co-authorship analysis and keyword analysis. The study shows key trends, challenges and opportunities in distance learning as a result of the pandemic. The results suggest that the COVID-19 outbreak has accelerated the adoption and innovation of distance learning technologies, but has also brought to light challenges such as the digital divide and pedagogical concerns. The study also highlights the need for further research into the effectiveness of distance learning, particularly in addressing equity issues and promoting student engagement. The analysis also revealed opportunities for the education sector, such as improved access to education, more flexible learning options and the development of new technologies to support distance education. |
