Zusammenfassung:Ability of the soil to produce desired agricultural products in a soil environment. Fertile soil can be productive when managed well with appropriate cultivation techniques. Organic matter is used by plants to obtain energy, optimize growth, and improve production quality. Efforts to increase plant productivity can be done through the application of fertilizers, both organic and inorganic. One alternative consideration for reducing the use of chemical fertilizers is practicing organic farming systems. In this system, it is expected that plants can live without external inputs, creating a closed life cycle for the plants. Research activities on increasing organic matter are conducted in Dawuhan Village, Trenggalek District, Trenggalek Regency. This experiment used five treatments for chili pepper plants: Treatment A (Control), B (3 tons Organic natter/ha + 25% NPK), C (100% NPK), D (5 tons/ha Organic Fertilizer + NPK 75%), E (5 tons/ha Organic Fertilizer + NPK 50%). The observed parameters include Plant Height (cm), Number of Fruits per Plant (fruits), Weight of Fruits per Plant (g), Weight of Fruits per Treatment (kg), and Weight of Fruits per hectare(kg). The experiments conducted on chili pepper plants show that the addition of organic fertilizer combined with inorganic fertilizer affects growth and production. The vegetative growth parameter shows a plant height of 72.2 cm while the generative phase under treatment D shows a total fruit count per plant at 385 fruits, weight per fruit at 739 grams, weight per treatment at 228 kg, and weight per hectare at 9.1 ton/ha.
