Zusammenfassung:Digital transformation transforms conventional processes into digital-based technology systems. Developments in digital transformation are supported by the development of the internet of things (IoT) which has been applied to realize digital transformation in various fields, including the field of metrology. The implementation of IoT for digital transformation in the field of metrology, especially those related to SI, is not easy because it requires infrastructure readiness to support the transformation. In this initial study, implementation of digital transformation and IoT in the metrology field is observed utilizing bibliometric and narrative literature evaluation methodologies. The inquiry was conducted by searching the Scopus database for scientific references using the phrases "digital metrology" and "Internet of Things" with respect to the publication dates of the papers. As a result, we identified the variables pertinent to the usage of IoT in the field of metrology, specifically the International System (SI) of Unit realization. These variables were used to evaluate the readiness of Indonesia's metrology infrastructure to implement digital metrology.
