Zusammenfassung:The attendance system is the process of identifying an employee’s attendance as one of the important aspects of the organization in providing salary, rewards, and many other things. There are various techniques available for monitoring instructors’ attendance. The most popular techniques include the biometric recognition of fingerprints, faces, signatures, and so on. Even though using biometric methods to monitor employee’s attendance has many benefits, there are some drawbacks that should be taken into account. Technical challenges, biometric systems that require physical contact with the scanning device, which may not be appropriate for all employees or individuals with disabilities, and also after the COVID-19 pandemic, it is not advisable to get into physical contact at a common place. The primary goal of this paper is to develop a method that can be relied upon, is effective, affordable, and saves an organization’s time and resources while also enabling contactless attendance monitoring. Employees can mark their daily attendance using a special Android software by scanning a QR code that will be posted in many places inside the campus. Additionally, it helps employees escape queues and get to their work on time.
