Zusammenfassung:Since the commencement of the time, man has created and disposed off waste material. While the total amount of waste materials, being a vital part of any society, can be reduced by using modern technology, they cannot be completely eliminated. Waste materials that cannot be eliminated must therefore be placed in a landfill. Compressed Clay Liners are used as an effective moisture barrier for a landfill. For the Design of Compacted Clay Liners, Permeability is one of the important parameters. The present project aims to study the permeability variation with compacted water content, with compaction energy, with clay content.
