Zusammenfassung:Road Accidents are dangerous. The cause of the accidents is driver drowsiness. The accidents happen in developing countries and the victims are young adults. To reduce road accidents, different kinds of methods are implemented. The Researchers propose different characteristics like visual (viewable), non-visual (Invisible), and vehicular (automotive). Visual characteristics can get from the driver’s face. Recorded by the camera and no direct contact with the driver. Non-visual characteristics are the signals which are acquired from the body of the driver and have direct contact with the driver’s body with some sensors. Another one is the Features of a vehicle which are obtained by the driver’s behavior. These three ideas are considered as guidance for the researcher for the detection of drowsiness. The primary idea is to develop drowsiness facial expressions datasets and then predict sleepiness and tiredness. The secondary idea tries to develop hardware like smartwatches and the last one is to combine any two features visual and vehicular, visual and non-visual features for accurate drowsiness detection.
