Zusammenfassung:The explanatory subject of Optimization of Safety and Health in the Construction Industries of Afghanistan is one of the key issues which plays a vital role during the execution ofany kind of constructive projects in Afghanistan. As we know that the majority of construction companies concentrate solely on the fundamentals of occupational health and safety. Lack of consideration has been paid to the rules and standards for the Optimization of Health and Safety (OHS) laws (such as OHSAS-18001) in Afghanistan’s construction industry which appeared from the findings of previous literature reviews. To have a suitable and appropriate safety and healthy based construction environment, the requirements of the OHS graduates need to be able to acquainted, prevent and avoid with the unsafety conditions on the construction zones of the country that they would involve with. This study gives a view of the construction sites in Afghanistan. Results suggest that construction related programs do not adequately prepare graduates to be able to ensure safety and health of workers on construction sites in the country.
