Zusammenfassung:Multilevel inverters are widely used due to their advantages such as better waveform quality. As new switches are added to the converter, the cost and complexity of control also increases. To overcome these issues, a multi-level start-up inverter with reduced switching topology for stand-alone solar PV systems will be implemented. In this paper, the level-shifted sinusoidal pulse-width modulation technique is chosen as the control scheme to control the switches of the multi-level inverter. Comparison of the performance of a multi-level single-phase inverter and a cascaded H-bridge inverter at different values of THD.
