Zusammenfassung:Urethane acrylate resin is applicable resin that used in plastic-based matrix composite. Crestapol 1260 is a trademark, an urethane acrylate resin with low viscosity, that enable to be used for infusion and resin transfer moulding (RTM) at vacuum operation. This resin is well-compatible with carbon fibre reinforcement materials and sizing agents, has high-temperature performance, high strength and toughness, and exceptional water and hydrolysis resistance. As matrix, Crestapol requires the addition of a catalyst and accelerator to begin the curing process. This study investigated gel time, tensile and compressive properties of the Crestapol 1260/Percumyl H/Cobalt 6% for some compositions.
