Synthesis of gearing according to the contact relative point criterion

The relevance of the problem statement is substantiated. On the basis of a mathematical model of flat gearing with a constant gear ratio, the solution of problems of synthesis of mutually bending profiles of wheel teeth and tool rails by the criterion of the relative point of contact is considered. The cases of linear, constant and zero velocities are considered in detail.
