Zusammenfassung: | As of right now, the Malaysian rugby union team is ranked fourth best in all of Asia. Research on the coaching competency procedure in Malaysian high-performance rugby coaches. Malaysian Rugby hand-picks each competitor across three divisions: men’s 7s, women’s 7s, and men’s 15s. Qualitative methods, such as in-depth, semi-structured interviews with free-form questions, are being employed. The interview is to gather rich and onfield information regarding coaching competency process during team high-performance preparation. Data collected from open coding, axial coding and thematic analysis will be use to understand the need on preparing the best national players for Malaysia. Standard coaching competency process should be applied on every player in Malaysia to generate understanding between all local players before entering the Malaysians national selection camp. This study helps all future national coaches understanding application on coaching competency during high-performance team preparation for rugby environment in Malaysia. |
