Zusammenfassung:Due to the features of sea water such as light absorption and scattering of light, underwater photographs frequently suffer from severe quality degradation and deformation. Use an IFM (image formation model) helps to maintains the image’s quality and it is dependent on the parameters such as transmission map and background light. There’s an additional techniquefor improving underwater pictures is combination of histogram stretching and colour and contrast restoration. In contrast to refining the transmittance in dark channel prior based restoration, quantitative methods used for estimating BL as well as the TM. Enhancements are made with a variation of white balance to greatly enhance the colour of the reconstructed images from dehazed to natural look, known as post-processing. Furthermore, a histogram stretching approach is used to boost the luminance. Enough assessments are carried out to determine the performance of image reconstruction. According to the findings, underwater image quality enhanced greatly for both quantitative and qualitative evaluations. Compared with other techniques show that our suggestedapproach result in improved information retention, shorter running times, and higher BL precision.
