Zusammenfassung:Responsibility is a charactpleer that must be possessed by every individual, but there are still many teachers who have not developed the character of responsibility through the learning process. One of the efforts that can be done is through Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). This type of research is experimental research. The study was conducted on l6 grade 2 elementary school students in Lhokseumawe City, Aceh, Indonesia. The data collected is the character of the student’s responsibility during the learning process of geometry using the instrument of observation sheets, and field notes. The results showed that the character of the students’ responsibility was in the good category.
