Zusammenfassung: | The active Filtering concept is playing a vital role in the electrical power system to balance harmonics and reactive power in transmission and distribution systems. These filters are utilizing various configurations, different control strategies, different types of components along with economic and technical considerations. To control the operation of active filters, various control strategies are adopted among which pq theory, dq theory, pwm techniques, hysteresis band control etc., are used. In this paper, how the power quality enhancement is achieved by reducing harmonics has been discussed. By using PQ-based current reference generator, shunt active power filter operation is analyzed by simulation circuit using MATLAB software. |
