Zusammenfassung: | In this study, a neutronic calculation of PWR fuel containing burnable poison gadolinium was carried out. PWR fuel uses a lot of burnable poison such as gadolinium which aims to prolong the operating cycle. However, in this study, the neutronic parameters of PWR fuel were calculated using various libraries. Model Calculation of the fuel assembly 17 × 17 with enrichment of 1.510 w/o and 2.290 w/o uranium 235U and 2.5 w/o gadolinium. Calculations were performed using the WIMSD-5B computer code with the model of ¼ fuel assembly using the ENDF/B-VII.0, ENDF/B-VII.1, and ENDF/BVIII.0 libraries. The results of the analysis show that the value of neutronic parameters such as k-inf is highly dependent on the library used. At the beginning of the cycle (BOC), the k-inf values were 1.278865, 1.277416, and 1.279749, respectively. At the end of the cycle, the difference was 14.80%, 14.83%, and 14.14% respectively. |
