Zusammenfassung: | This paper describes the developed capsule design for radiation staining of topaz in the WWR-K reactor. The main element of the capsule is a radiation shield, which consists of two materials: tantalum and boron carbide. Computer simulation of the developed capsule design using MCNP6 and Comsol software was carried out and its neutron and thermophysical characteristics were determined. A conservative approach was used in the calculations. During the thermophysical analysis, two cooling modes were considered: with forced cooling and without cooling (only natural convection). It is shown that the temperature of topaz during regular operation will reach 134 ° C. In the event of an emergency mode associated with the loss of coolant circulation, the maximum temperature of topaz will rise to 274 ° C. |
