Zusammenfassung: | Petrol and diesel engines are the main source of transportation across the globe from last century. But the hard growing energy demand ultimately leads to their shortage in near future. This has motivated us to find other ways of energy for transportation. There are different ways to save energy in various sectors. By studying the literature we concluded that electric bike (E-bike) is a feasible solution to replace existing petroleum bikes. Based upon the information gathered from literature survey we designed an E-bike from the existing petroleum bike. E-bike used a chemical energy which is stored inside the rechargeable battery packs. In this article, we used formulas and various design parameters that can be used to design an E-bike and then we use these formulas to make calculations and formulate or finalize the design for our E-bike. According to the findings, E-bikes are the most cost-effective mode of transportation for a variety of reasons, particularly for short-distance and inner-city commuting. It provides an environmentally friendly vehicle and decreases fuel consumption. |
