Zusammenfassung: | In the Present world, helmets are very useful things for the workers or riders. These days helmets are made using the synthetic plastics which are non recyclable, harmful, and cause pollution to the environment. Nowadays, there is a need to develop a biodegradable helmet without compromising its strength as of conventional helmets. Researchers came upwith the different kinds of natural fs as a reinforcing material for the development of the biodegradable helmets. This research paper throws a light on the literature of basalt, jute, glass and bamboo fibers as reinforcement. It also includes the discussion on the hand lay up method used for the manufacturing of the safety helmets. It gives extensive information about the mechanical properties of natural fibres reinforced safety helmets and has a wide potential to replace the conventional safety helmets. |
