Extensification and intensification of tidal swampland are one of the strategic efforts to meet these needs. Soil cultivation in tidal swampland is generally done manually or with two-wheel tractors and four-wheel tractors, although in practice there are still many obstacles in the form of limited manpower, sinking two-wheeled or four-wheeled tractors. The use of a crawler tractor with a rotary implementation is expected to be able to optimize land cultivation in tidal swamp land. The purpose of this study was to test the performance of a crawler tractor with a rotary implement for tillage in tidal swampland in South Kalimantan. Method Performance test for crawler tractor at tidal swampland used Indonesian National Standart (SNI Roda Krapyak). Observations on test parameters include working width, depth, speed, field capacity and soil tillage efficiency. The results of the crawler tractor performance test are as follows: at dry land consisting of : cone indeks 1,0-4,3 kg/cm2, the width of theoretical working 1800 mmm, the actual working width is 1729 cm, the depth tillage was 154,9 mm, the actual working speed is 4,18 km/hour, the field capacity is 2.61 hours/ha solar 6,86 liter/hour and the tillage efficiency is 52.92%. Performance test at the wet tidal swampland was as follows: cone indeks 0,76-3,7 kg/cm2, the width of theoretical working 1800 mmm, the actual working width is 1694 cm, the depth tillage was 154,1 mm, the actual working speed is 4,05 km/hour, the field capacity is 2.81 hours/ha solar consumption 7,89 liter/hour and the tillage efficiency is 51.12%. |
